A multi-million scandal has surfaced at Narok county government with Governor Samuel Tunai in the spotlight. It involves executive committee members as well as senior officers in the county assembly who have taken part in deals that have led to misappropriation of public funds by the county government. Public funds are being lost through allocations and payment to projects which do not exist on the ground after investigations singled out projects fully paid by the county government and said to be completed yet they do not exist. The controversial tenders are number NCG/RD/064/2014/2015.
