The culprit is Coast Bottlers Limited (CBL) factory in Mtwapa, Mombasa County. CBL bottles coca-cola products. The foreign objects are viscous and behave like phlegm (kikohozi) from a TB patient. This is not the first time that such a thing happens to Coca-Cola products. Most of these incidences go unreported and this has directly been caused by the laxity in which Coca-Cola or its subcontractors follows up the issue.
