Debra. A. Ajuka reveals that sometime in 2015, Raymond Oruo of Pacific Sports contracted her to partner in the running of the Copa Coca-Cola tournament, where the soft drinks company was engaging young people in football activity meant to discover talent.
But as you may have noted from previous postings, we have always told our viewers to be very wary of corporate Nairobi, which is filthier and more corrupt than Government. Nairobi is all about cliques, who you know, who you're sleeping with, who is giving you kickbacks and the likes.
For instance, for Raymond Oruo to get this particular contract from Coca Cola, he was "assisted" by Mona Karingi to get the project, in exchange for bribes and kickbacks that she would receive from him, based on the inflated figures he would present to the company.
The project had been successfully on-going for a number of years since probably 2010, but it seems that it's after Mona Karingi was employed by Coca Cola, that corruption and mismanagement reared it's ugly head, where together with the corrupt teachers running sports associations, they would conspire to fleece the multinational.
In Nairobi, merit has been overlooked for patronage, corruption and cronyism where only those who unfairly get leverage to execute something, eventually "win" .
Corporate pieces of shit like Mona Karingi continue to use their positions to choke merit and extend the cycle of mediocrity, by only awarding tenders to providers who guarantee them of kickbacks in return. Pacific Sports has since been folded and Raymond Oruo is now working for Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), where he is making money with FKF President Nick Mwendwa using the bogus Pepea Card scheme. Oruo is also said to be a close associate to another FKF thief called Chris Amimo, who looted Safaricom in collaboration with senior managers in the telecommunications provider, under the auspices of the Sakata Football Tournament.
These are young people who posture as sports experts but are just thieves. Hereby attached is the pattern of deceit that is now putting Coca Cola is a tight spot, for hiring unscrupulous operatives, who together with the staff that seconded them, are bringing the name of the company into disrepute.
