Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) Director General Zachary Mwangi.

Through the Government of Kenya (GoK) has explained why Census registration personnel haven't been paid , the issue is very emotive.

Hey there, it is eminently heartbreaking that the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government ostensibly debased thousand of youths binding agreement to pay them after completing data entry and verification tasks countrywide.

The tasks were completed two months ago, and no signs of paying them. It is an explicit indication that the said ministry tricked the youths and has no plan to pay them.

The clerks assisted the Ministry in digitizing its records.

In reference to the information given to the aforementioned Clerks by Molo Subcounty registrars, each data entry could be remunerated Ksh. 6 and Ksh. 2 for each verification.

Moreover, no lunch, transport, or whatever allowances were given to the clerks during the 30 days exercise.
