A loaf of bread is supposed to last only a few days yet to DPL Festive, the manufacturers of Festive bread, cookies and other wheat products, that is not the case.

A Kenyan on Twitter, Teetotaler (@LilKoima) shared a tweet with a festive bread that has lasted for more than a month without showing any signs of mould or decay.

That is a cause for alarm, in the age where cancer has become rampant and the economy is tough.

It seems the tough economic conditions have pushed the bread firm to use shortcuts and cut corners in their manufacturing to increase profits.

There's an additive that they put on that bread, and one doesn't require a medical degree to discern that it is toxic for human consumption.

Sources say, DPL Festive prepare the bread with formalin, a chemical used to preserve dead bodies (cadavers). Formalin in bread: nonexpiry bread by DPL Festive

The date of manufacture on the offending bread is 24 November, 2019; the expiry date is 1 December 2019, yet by 29 December, 2019, the bread appeared fresh.

Wheat products, especially bread don't last that long.

Here is the screenshot to the tweet and the tweet. The tweet This expired bread appears fresh because of additives which are toxic to humans
