President Uhuru Kenyatta Is the Government of Kenya (GoK) sincere in the whole matter of payments of Huduma Namba registration assistants (RA)?
When the GoK announced the job earlier in the year, the pay per day for an RA was Kshs, 1500. GoK later reduced the pay to Kshs. 1000 per day citing 15 day extension period, as the basis for the reduction so that the funds are not strained.
Another sad thing the government did was to put the money in the hands of county administrators instead of sending it directly to the bank accounts of RAs.
Now, the crux of the matter is; in a country that exalts graft and culture 'ya kugongana', will the RAs receive their money in full?

I was one of the Huduma Namba Registration Assistant (RA) in one of the sub-counties in Bungoma County. Deputy President William Ruto The total amount that we were paid was Kshs. 35,000 instead of Kshs. 52,000
We were convinced that we will be paid Kshs. 17,000 balance before the end of the financial year, but up to now we haven't received the monies.
If you ask about the balance you will just be threatened that you will not get any job opportunity in future.
The assistant chiefs who were the recruiters are also being threatened with job lose if their RA's will raise alarm over the said balance.
Millions of stolen money is being stashed in Bungoma county, and no one is exposing this.
This has led to many youths who participated in this exercise loose confidence on their county government.
The problem is made worse because we have evidence that in others counties the RAs were paid the whole amount Kshs. 52,000.
