He also spent over four hours with detectives from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) who questioned him over Kshs. 8 million loss of public funds to a German company, Madam R Enterprises, for waste management services. Ojaamong fiercely defended his conduct at some point stating that the money was not lost but paid for cleaning of 'all the towns across the county for one year and training staff on waste management'.
