Kenya Transport CS James Macharia has revealed that there were at least 32 nationalities onboard the ill-fated Ethiopian Airlines aircraft that crashed this morning.

32 passengers were Kenyan

18 Canadians

9 Ethiopians

8 Chinese

8 Italians

7 Brittons

6 Egyptians

5 Dutch

4 On a UN passport

4 Indians

Earlier today, British Broadcasting Corporation while quoting the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation confirmed that all 157 members on board are dead.

Friends and family of those affected have been asked to visit the information desk set up at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for all enquiries.

Top government officials including President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have sent their messages of condolences.
