This evening, Kenyan blogger Cyprian Nyakundi responded to numerous requests by his millions of followers to vie for a political seat in the country.
Nyakundi, who has previously expressed his disinterest in “dirty Kenyan politics” made a post on social media, responding to a fan who wanted him to join the race in the next elections and oust current Lang'ata Member of Parliament Nixon Korir who many residents have accused of underperformance.
In his Instagram post, Nyakundi threatened to jump in and save Lang'ata residents from Korir, whom he described as “DP Ruto's lapdog”.

Just moments after he shared the post, Nyakundi received massive support in the comments section, with many Kenyans vowing to support his potential entry into politics.
