Kenya is held hostage by jealous individuals occupying positions of power beginning with the top. Many initiatives presented to the President Uhuru Kenyatta have been dismissed simply because they didn't meet the "St. Mary's threshold" where only his former schoolmates seem to be benefiting from his disgraceful tenure.
Let's use social-media to break these cartels and chart a new course for Kenya that elevates merit and shuns patronage and mediocrity.

Despite all the "planted" individuals sent by the status-quo to insult or berate the work we do, this website has made more exposures on corruption than the entire mainstream media fraternity combined. We don't need anyone to validate us or our work, because we know the impact.
If all bloggers posted third-rate content like Ghafla, where would Kenya be in the next five years? Probably a failed state like Central Africa Republic. We need young Kenyans to break out of the cycle of the old ways, and start being conscious about governance. Think about our dying middle-class and do more research on the Burkina Faso or Egyptian revolution.
