The media which was very confused in the first place by reporting what the government was telling them, started taking the Twitter questions serious and the mediocre daystar products got a hint on how to report and ask serious questions.
Twitter cannot be ignored, and that is why thieves in the private and public sector are getting a hard time looting.
During the NYS Saga, Waiguru's son going by the name Ian was busted bragging with an Aston Martin, something that angered Kenyans who connected the affluent lifestyle to the looting of NYS.
Frank Ireri has ordered his family to shut down social media accounts after a Kenyan Blogger questioned the Daughter's Affluent Lifestyle and connecting it to the consistent looting of the Housing Finance Group.
Frank Ireri, who bribes journalists to shout that he is a genius seems to be out of touch with reality since he has failed to manage a simple crisis that has held the group under siege. This will damage the whole group and every corrupt individuals working there as the saga unfolds
Frank Ireri, The Housing Finance Group MD, signed off an illegal tranche of loans totaling Kshs. 660 Million to companies associated with Peter Munga, who doubles up as the Chairman of Equity Bank. Peter Munga who has been on an investment spree, building hotels and buying companies, has been fraudulently acquiring loans from both Equity Bank and Housing Finance and trading with other people’s money while posing as a genius investor. Karma recently got the better of him, after his only son committed suicide by jumping out of the balcony of Black Diamond Club in Westlands, plunging to his death. He has failed to connect the death of his son to his greed and habit of exploiting the poor, continued with his looting as if he wants to spread the curse to his other children and grandchildren. Apparently, Ireri also extended a Sh133 million loan to his in-laws through a company called Ryan Properties Ltd and Sh10 million, which has never been paid, to his nephew’s Ecomaji Ltd.
In signing off these loans, Mr. Ireri overruled his colleagues from the credit department which had found the applicants not fit to be granted loans.
Frank Ireri, the Nigga from the St Mary's school of corruption, is also in the middle of a 2 Billion Housing Finance Procurement Saga that Central Bank of Kenya Governor Njoroge has refused to probe. One former Housing Finance Director Kevin Isika, in his court filings, had boldly stated that he was fired because he had uncovered a racket engineered by St. Mary’s alumni Frank Ireri, on how books were being cooked and a more than Ksh 4 Billion bad loans saga that have always been hidden.
It seems like the wider Kikuyu establishment who control much of the bank's sector under contention, prevailed upon Governor Njoroge and the President, to juggle the position and not compromise the financial interests of many of these financial outfits. The United States have a particular law, which dispenses sanctions to husbands and wives in equal measure. Proclamation 7750—To Suspend Entry as Immigrants or Nonimmigrants of Persons Engaged In or Benefiting From George W. Bush signed corruption on January 12th, 2004. It was designed to curtail entry to those who have been designated as aiding and abetting corruption around the world.
The Proclamation targets those deemed as corrupt, including their wives, children and dependants. It’s reads in part;
Section 1. The entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of the following persons is hereby suspended:
(a) Public officials or former public officials whose solicitation or acceptance of any article of monetary value, or other benefit, in exchange for any act or omission in the performance of their public functions has or had serious adverse effects on the national interests of the United States.
(b) Persons whose provision of or offer to provide any article of monetary value or other benefit to any public official in exchange for any act or omission in the performance of such official’s public functions has or had serious adverse effects on the national interests of the United States.
(c) Public officials or former public officials whose misappropriation of public funds or interference with the judicial, electoral, or other public processes has or had serious adverse effects on the national interests of the United States.
(d) The spouses, children, and dependent household members of persons described in paragraphs (a), (b), and (c) above, who are beneficiaries of any articles of monetary value or other benefits obtained by such persons.
While US Ambassadors have previously used it to reign in corrupt officials like former Attorney General Amos Wako, current Ambassador Bob Godec is yet to invoke it.
So yes Kenyans, it’s right to target people and their family.
