Simon Onyango, Administration Police (AP) Corporal
Hi President,
Kindly Expose this Officer; His name is Simon Onyango Administration Police (AP) Corporal.
So here is my story, On 18th of May 2019, a drunk and disorderly neighbour was reported at Kanjai AP camp (Kanjai is in Kiambu County Githunguri Constituency) by villagers due to disturbance and mind you it was during the day.
No action was taken.
Few hours later one of the complainants was attacked by the same person but this time round the guy overpowered him and in the process of defending himself he was able to discipline him better and took him back to the same AP camp.
This time two Administration police officers, one lady and a gentleman by the name Mohammed, gave the guy a stern warning and they instructed him to go and apologize to the complainants.
That was agreed and they went home.
Mohammed now colleague to this Rougue SIMON ONYANGO warned us that the culprit was a close friend to SIMON their boss and that nothing they could do since SIMON would defend his friend.
Come 29th June when we thought all was over, the complainant who overpowered the culprit, was arrested and charged with 4 others. The charges were that they robbed the culprit 35k and a phone worth 9k the witness were
- Medical officer who issued P3
- SIMON ONYANGO.
You agree with me some in the current times one of the serious offences you can be charged with today and once convicted one might be sentenced to death is Robbery with Violence.
They had a good target this time where now it was agreed that the culprit and the defendant are relatives they can settle this outside the court.
To the cut the long story short, they were paid the money demanded and now that the culprit know that they the immunity due to the friendship they enjoy with AP ONYANGO, He will drinks any time time of day and abuses anyone in the village; wrestles anyone and is very disorderly.
This is one complain many other people are suffering but cannot get a chance to express themselves.
So my worry and concern is how can anyone report something which is not going on well then at the end of the day you end up being the one who is criminalized?.
I mean the guy was just defending himself and he recorded the same. How comes he became a criminal, how is that?.
This is a police officer who should not be in service otherwise that's why you find many innocent people in jail today for sins they never committed.
You see if the guy never met their demand that means even as we are talking his freedom would still be held for crime they don't even have an idea of.
Something else he had been transferred i.e period between may and the time he was arresting how comes he would go all the way from his new post to come and arrest??
Simply he had interests in a share of the proceeds.
There's fear in exposing a rogue police office as this post down here shows. Loosely translated, it says, 'They are asking who can help them due to harassment from AP officers of the same post he was transferred now they are asking their coward MCA for help'.
