Jared Othieno, KPLC Acting MD. Hi El Presidente, This is a cry of Kware residents, Pipeline. We have been in black out for the last 16 days. All these days we've been reaching out to Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) who have only been giving reference numbers and promising they will work on it. On Monday this week they came and carried away the transformer and brought a new one on Wednesday and restored power supply. Yesterday, they came back and wanted to pull down the new transformer claiming that power 'theft' in the area is on the rise hence they are making losses.
