All these days we've been reaching out to Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) who have only been giving reference numbers and promising they will work on it. On Monday this week they came and carried away the transformer and brought a new one on Wednesday and restored power supply. Yesterday, they came back and wanted to pull down the new transformer claiming that power 'theft' in the area is on the rise hence they are making losses. The mob was so mad at them, almost beating them up, until they chose to surrender. They were however whisked away without restoring power, the area is still in...
