THE FACE OF INCOMPETENCE: UoN Vice Chancellor Professor Peter F.M Mbithi A parent of a student at the University of Nairobi (UoN) has written to the editor of this site about how careless the management of the University has become about classes, exams and lectures. Read the story below: Hello sir, I wish somebody would find out how lecturers at the University of Nairobi (UoN) handle the lectures. Do they attend to all lectures and after how long are they supposed to release each semesters exams? Am a parent of a son who is in second year. Out of 8 units in 1st semester, they have released only 3. Second semester in the 2nd year, they have scheduled nothing; yet they are supposed to resume as 3rd year students in June-August. My son failed in some 2 units, when will he recover or resit for those units? Forward this to Education Caninet Secretary George Magoha.
