It was a theory by then, but now the truth is about to be revealed as we have got; a 200-paged document showcasing how the rogue Telco stole the intellectual property of one Transcend Media Group Limited and almost got away with it.
The difference between Transcend's and other young innovators whose intellectual properties have been stolen, and Safaricom has bribed the respective judges to win those cases, is that Transcend had a lot of money to defend itself in court. Transcend caused more havoc by writing to Vodafone Group Services Limited. This prompted Safaricom to rush to court ' by filing a suit at the Milimani Commercial Court, Admiralty division in HCCC No. 228 of 2016 seeking to gag Transcend purportedly on grounds of publication of injurious falsehoods'. The court dismissed the injuction.

However, despite the overwhelming evidence against it, Safaricom has somehow managed to win all cases in court.

Transcend tried and 'won', but they did not win in court. According to information received, the firm was paid off to keep silent about its creative work that was stolen.
To suppress information, Safaricom paid off and instructed the Kenya Law Reports not to include the case against it in the reports.

Safaricom and Transcend agreed on a compensation plan that was too juicy for the Media firm to refuse.
