14 Shortlisted To Replace Halaqhe Waqo

Former National Police Service Commissioner Mohamed Murshid is among 14 candidates shortlisted by EACC to replace outgoing CEO Halaqhe Waqo. Murshid left NPSC on October 2 after serving for six years. He left together with other commissioners including chairman Johnstone Kavuludi . The EACC advertised the CEO position on October 9. Deputy EACC chief executive Michael Mubea has also been named among the candidates. Reuben Chirchir, who was one of the joint secretaries to the tribunal that probed Supreme Court Justice Philip Tunoi, is also in the list.
