Fresh allegations have emerged against Komarock Modern Healthcare after a former employee accused the facility of subjecting staff to prolonged salary delays and failing to remit statutory deductions, claims that, if true, could have serious implications for employees' financial wellbeing.

The whistleblower, who requested anonymity for fear of reprisals, claims that workers at the healthcare facility have endured months of delayed salaries over the past two years, with some allegedly going three to four months without pay.

According to the former employee, the persistent delays have left many workers struggling to meet basic household expenses, pay rent, service loans and support their families.

The former staff member further alleges that while employees continued to experience financial hardship, the hospital's management prioritized expansion projects and other expenditures instead of settling staff salaries.

The whistleblower also claims that employees who questioned the delays or attempted to mobilise colleagues to demand payment were allegedly threatened with dismissal or issued termination letters.

Even more concerning, according to the former employee, is the allegation that statutory deductions, including PAYE, NSSF, and HELB repayments, have been deducted from employees' salaries but allegedly not remitted to the relevant government agencies since last year.

The whistleblower says the failure to remit these deductions has exposed employees to financial uncertainty and could negatively affect their access to benefits and loan records if confirmed.

The concerns appear to have reached a breaking point after an internal email circulated among staff members on June 25, 2026.

In the email, whose screenshot has been shared with this publication, employees expressed frustration over repeated salary delays, saying they were "financially strained" and struggling to pay their bills. The email warned that continued non-payment could affect service delivery across the hospital's branches.

Part of the email reads:

"It has come to our attention that you are deliberately delaying our salaries. This is making us live a miserable life that is not in any way proportional to our pay slips. We are here to offer our services in exchange for the money you pay us in the form of salaries... We are all financially strained and need bills to pay."

The former employee, who says they eventually resigned after enduring the situation for an extended period, is now appealing for the relevant authorities to investigate the allegations.

There's this celebrity hospital by the name Komarock Modern Healthcare that has reduced the staff members to beggars for about the last two years. The CEO, Mr. Nyamu, has allegedly been undertaking expansion projects, buying luxury cars and continuing with his own activities while staff have reportedly gone for close to three or four months without pay.

As if this is not enough, the hospital has allegedly not been remitting statutory deductions such as PAYE, HELB and NSSF since last year. If you try to raise concerns or encourage staff to speak about salary delays, you are allegedly met with dismissal letters from the management, led by the Deputy CEO.

Kindly call out this facility that has driven many families and young people into immeasurable suffering.

I was a staff member there, but eventually left after a long period of suffering. To date, the statutory deductions have allegedly never been remitted since last year.
