Vice-President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue said they have resigned, following concerns over poor performance, corruption, misuse of state resources, stalled development projects, and failure to diversify the economy beyond oil.

Ironically, the shake-up comes under President Teodoro Obiang, Africa's longest-serving ruler, who has been in power since 1979 and whose family occupies several key government positions.
