ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan has been suspended pending a vote by member states on his future, following a probe into sexual harassment allegations.

Khan, who previously served as William Ruto’s lead counsel during the ICC case, had already stepped aside in May 2025 as investigations into the allegations continued.

The ICC’s governing body will now determine the next step in the matter.

Khan has denied the allegations.
