The National Police Service has reshuffled President William Ruto’s security team after a breach during a public event in Ganze, Kilifi County. Deputy Inspector General Noah Kirwa Maiyo has been removed as Commandant of the Presidential Escort Unit and reassigned to Police Headquarters in Nairobi. He is replaced by William Sawe, formerly of the Recce sub-unit.
