Mozzart Bet’s KSh 18m Sponsorship: A Game-Changer for Kenyan Football
In a significant move that underscores its commitment to Kenyan sports, betting firm Mozzart Bet has announced a monumental KSh 18 million sponsorship.
This investment is set to inject much-needed financial stability and professional growth into three deserving clubs within the National Super League (NSL), Kenya’s second-tier football competition.
The beneficiaries of this groundbreaking partnership are 3K FC from Embu, Migori Youth, and Kisumu All Stars.
Each of the three clubs will receive a substantial KSh 5 million, along with an additional KSh 1 million dedicated to club merchandise over the next year.
This timely sponsorship arrives at a crucial moment for the NSL, a league that has long grappled with a lack of consistent financial support since the departure of its previous sponsor in 2019.
The partnership will see the clubs proudly wearing Mozzart Bet and Mozzart Sport-branded jerseys, providing the company with valuable marketing visibility during match days.

For clubs like 3K FC, this sponsorship holds particular historical significance.
The Embu-based team, known for its passionate fan base that draws an average of 5,000 spectators per home match, has never had a commercial partner before.
According to assistant coach Moses Munene, this partnership is “transformational,” and for the first time, players will be on a stable payroll.
Additionally, it’s a crucial step towards fostering professionalism and development.
Kisumu All Stars, a club that has faced its own share of financial hardship after the withdrawal of support from the Kisumu County Government.
Also, it will be looking to the sponsorship to turn its fortunes around.
The club’s team manager, Rashid Ochieng, believes that Mozzart Bet’s backing will inspire them to push for promotion back to the top-tier FKF Premier League.
Similarly, Migori Youth, one of the longest-serving teams in the NSL, will aim to leverage the financial support to improve their chances of finally gaining promotion after a decade in the second tier.
This latest sponsorship is a continuation of Mozzart Bet’s long-standing and impactful support for Kenyan sports.
The company has a history of investing in various sporting disciplines at both the national and grassroots levels.
Some of its notable contributions include:
The Mozzart Bet Cup
A three-year, KSh 60 million sponsorship deal with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for the country’s premier domestic knockout competition, the FKF Cup, now renamed the Mozzart Bet Cup.
This partnership has not only revitalized the tournament but also provided a direct pathway to continental football for the winning team.
Malkia Strikers
A KSh 15 million sponsorship for the national women’s volleyball team.
In addition, the Malkia Strikers have helped the team in their preparations for international competitions.
Kakamega Homeboyz
A multi-year sponsorship deal with the FKF Premier League side which has been instrumental in the club’s success.
Including winning the inaugural Mozzart Bet Cup.
Other initiatives
The company has also been involved in sponsoring grassroots football tournaments nationwide and supporting other sports, including rally racing and athletics.
By investing KSh 18 million in the NSL, Mozzart Bet is not only empowering three individual clubs but also sending a powerful message to the wider sporting community.
This move raises hopes that other corporate entities will be encouraged to invest in the league, fostering a more competitive and professional environment for Kenyan football.
