Makueni Teachers Cry Foul In TSC Recruitments

Hello Nyakundi,

We as Makindu subcounty (Makueni County) teacher recruits are very angry about how this exercise was conducted.

First, the guy in the office is very arrogant and unprofessional.

Secondly, a lot of corruption was embraced. We overheard the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) officials negotiating the amount of the few allocated slots.

Thirdly, the locals were not given opportunity to apply; since he comes from Somali he went and brought people of his tribe to apply limiting our chances yet other sub counties barred non-locals

Fourthly, he prepared the merit in the bedroom which is against the tsc regulation for recruitments

We emailed our complaints to TSC but nothing has been done to date.

If things continue like these, we will be left with no option but to storm the office.
