FKF’s National Executive Committee ordered President Hussein Mohamed to step aside as investigations begin into alleged financial impropriety.
The resolution was reportedly signed by 9 of the 14 NEC members.
The NEC cited alleged financial impropriety, statutory breaches, conflict of interest and procurement concerns.
The central claim involves about Ksh42 million linked to CHAN-related funds.
Mohamed has not been declared guilty; the matter remains under investigation.
Editor note: All allegations should be treated as claims pending the outcome of investigations, the forensic audit, and any official findings by FKF, national or international football bodies.
