On June 7, 2020, a survey released by Infotrak Research and Consulting firm revealed that 68% of Kenyans have confidence in the government's containment measures to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the report, 50% of those interviewed expressed fears that corruption, inadequate healthcare facilities, and failure to adhere to COVID-19 directives could compromise the efforts to control the pandemic.

Additionally, 45% of the respondents wanted the issue of food security addressed, while 35% wanted the government to focus on dealing with unemployment to enable Kenyans to feed themselves during the pandemic.

Eastern, Nairobi, Central, North-Eastern, Western, and Coast regions were identified as the areas where Kenyans feel they will not make ends meet if the virus persists.

Infotrak's COVID-19 poll is available for download on the KBC website.
