On June 7, 2020, Kenya's Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe, announced that the country's Covid-19 cases had risen to 2,767 following 167 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
During the daily Covid-19 briefing, Kagwe also revealed that 46 more people had been discharged, bringing the total recoveries to 752. Unfortunately, the death toll increased to 84 after one more person succumbed to the virus.
Health CS Kagwe emphasized that bars should remain closed, and those who flout the rules will have their licenses revoked.
