On June 7, 2020, Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju shed light on President Uhuru Kenyatta's recent government changes, stating that the President's goal is to create a united, transformed, and corruption-free country.

According to Tuju, President Kenyatta wants to leave behind a legacy of unity, transformation, and a corruption-free country, as he stated in a recent interview: “President Uhuru Kenyatta wants to leave behind a united, transformed, and corruption free country. Somebody did mention on a national TV that “corruption cannot stop any determined leader from delivering”, we should not trust such people with any leadership position in the Republic of Kenya,”

Tuju emphasized that the changes are aimed at enhancing inclusivity, shared prosperity, and devolution, which is in line with the President's vision for the country.

Notably, Tuju has been vocal in his criticism of disloyal party members, particularly those rallying behind Deputy President William Ruto and criticizing President Uhuru Kenyatta. The purge has already targeted several prominent leaders, including Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, Nakuru Senator Hon. Susan Kihika, and Tharaka Nithi Senator Prof. Kithure Kindiki.
