Published on June 6, 2020, Betty Kyallo has made headlines for her decision to let her daughter Ivanna bond with her ex-husband Dennis Okari. In a candid interview, Kyallo shared her thoughts on co-parenting and why she's changed her approach.

Speaking to Jalango, Kyallo revealed that she and Okari communicate regularly, saying, 'Yeah, let me tell you, I think right now I have grown so much. The Betty I used to be two or three years ago is not the person I am today.'

She added that Okari has been doing a good job helping raise their daughter, saying, 'I would like to challenge the mums who are not letting the dads see and build a relationship with their dad, it is wrong.'

Kyallo emphasized the importance of nurturing the relationship between a child and their father, saying, 'The relationship between a parent and a child is a relationship that should not be stolen from anybody.'

She expressed her gratitude for Okari's involvement in their daughter's life, saying, 'We are co-parenting very well and he is doing a good job, I thank God because sometimes it's not by our will.'
