Published on June 6, 2020, former K24 TV host Betty Kyallo has confirmed she and her Somali boyfriend are no longer together.
Speaking during an interview with Jalango, Betty Kyallo emphasized the importance of accepting when relationships don't work out.
When asked about her relationship status, Betty Kyallo said, "It didn't work out. The thing is, things don't work out sometimes with people and it's okay, it's fine."
She further added, "I don't know why we have so much stigma about relationships and how you should act and you should last forever. Sometimes things work out, sometimes things hit a rock and it's okay, mnaachana kwa uzuri."
Her comments come after she recently expressed her desire for a husband who knows that marriage is about mutual support.
On her YouTube channel, Betty Kyallo had said, "I WORK LIKE A CRAZY MADWOMAN. LIKE NOT, ME AND MY HUSBAND HAVE LEFT THE HOUSE AT THE SAME TIME, THEN WE COME BACK AT THE SAME TIME AND WE ARE ALL SO TIRED AND HE STILL EXPECTS ME TO THEN GO TO THE KITCHEN AND COOK? UNLESS WE ARE HELPING EACH OTHER."
