Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is optimistic about his team's chances as the Premier League prepares to resume on June 19. The English top-flight has been on hold for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

United's last match was a 5-0 victory over LASK in the Europa League on March 12, which extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches. Solskjaer believes his team must maintain their focus and intensity to be ready for the restart.

"The first game is two weeks from today so we need to step up the training and get an edge to our game again," Solskjaer said in a statement on United's website on Friday.

United's schedule after the restart includes a match against Tottenham Hotspur on June 19, followed by a home game against Sheffield United on June 24 and a trip to Brighton on June 30. The team will also face Norwich in an FA Cup quarter-final on June 27.

Solskjaer emphasized the importance of team bonding and camaraderie in his squad, citing the need for players to focus on themselves and not just the next game.

"Gradually now, as we've got into contact training, you can see a little bit more of the edge but also the camaraderie and team bonding," Solskjaer said. "That's vital for me in a team. That's one of the main things, that we are a team and the team goes before anything else."
