Published on June 5, 2020, the health ministry announced four new COVID-19 deaths in Kenya, bringing the country's death toll to 78.
Kenya's case fatality rate has marginally decreased to 3.3 per cent, down from 3.4 per cent reported in May.
Notably, the country's highest case fatality rate of 5.1 per cent was recorded in April, with over 20 deaths reported at the time.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe reported that 39 individuals who were placed under treatment in different isolation centers have recovered from the disease and been discharged.
