June 4, 2020, marked the 10th consecutive night of protests in New York City, with thousands of peaceful demonstrators taking to the streets.

As the curfew began, the protesters marched east on 23rd Street, with a large contingent of police officers following them, some armed with batons.

When the marchers reached Ninth Avenue, they were met with a line of officers blocking their path, forcing them to turn north.
