Popular Kenyan media personality Willis Raburu has shared a throwback photo of himself from his early days in the industry, sparking a mix of reactions from his fans and followers.
According to the photo, Raburu was an intern at Citizen TV, and he was only able to afford a single striped suit and tie. However, this revelation was met with skepticism by some of his fans, who alleged that his father was a well-respected figure in society, holding a position of Provisional Commissioner for several provinces.
As a result, some fans called out Raburu for lying about his humble beginnings, while others congratulated him on his hard work and resilience that eventually saw him rise to the top of the Kenyan media industry.
On his social media platforms, Raburu shared his journey, using the hashtag #TBT, which translates to 'Throwback Thursday'. However, this post was not welcomed with open arms from his fans and especially people who knew his background as well as his family status.
