Kenya's COVID-19 death toll has reached 78, following the loss of four patients to the disease, announced the health ministry on June 4, 2020.
The country's case fatality rate now stands at 3.3 per cent, a marginal decrease from the 3.4 per cent reported in May.
Kenya's highest case fatality rate of 5.1 per cent was recorded in April, with 20 deaths reported at the time.
However, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe reported that 39 individuals who were placed under treatment in different isolation centers had recovered from the disease and were discharged.
