May 25, 2020, marked the burial of Tecra Muigai, the Keroche heiress, but her lover, Omar Lali, is still behind bars. He was arrested in connection to her death.
According to reports, Tecra fell down a flight of stairs in a Lamu cottage, where she was being treated for her injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to them.
Autopsy reports revealed that Tecra hit the left side of her head, leading to her death.
Omar's brother, Quswai Lali Omar, has taken to social media to demand his release, describing him as a good caring dad and mentor.
Quswai, the eleventh child of the Lali family, works at Peponi Hotel in Lamu and is a carpenter by profession.
He is not alone in his plea, as Omar's friend, Mohamed Bin Shaib, a freelance journalist, also tweeted a message of support, wishing Omar a Happy Eid Mubarack.
