Published on May 25, 2020, a dramatic turn of events unfolded in the lives of Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna and Tanzanian actor Mwijaku. Tanasha Donna has taken Mwijaku to court for claiming he fathered her son Naseeb Junior.
According to a statement on her Instagram account, Tanasha Donna warned Mwijaku to expect a letter from her lawyers soon. She expressed her frustration, stating, "EMPTY VESSELS MAKE THE LOUDEST NOISE SIS. You know EMPTY? He will be receiving a letter from my lawyer soon. Let’s see if he’l still be as enthusiastic by the time he’s in court."
Ray C, a veteran singer, had previously asked Mwijaku to pay for cyberbullying Tanasha Donna. In response, Ray C shared a lengthy post criticizing Mwijaku's actions, stating, "Duniani hakuna alio kamili…kuna vitu sisi kama binadamu tunafanya vya kipuuzi sana ila kuna muda mtu inabidi ukue kimawazo na kiakili pia na ni lazma ujue unachokifanya kwa mtu mwingine atakichukuliaje kibinaadamu."
Mwijaku had previously claimed that Diamond did not father Tanasha's son, Naseeb Junior, and instead claimed to be the biological father. He stated, "I have received calls to go and get a DNA test, but I have refused, there is much tension around this issue. Even my first-born son knows he has a brother, my family has even summoned me to Kigoma in regards to news about Tanasha’s son."
