May 22, 2020, will be remembered as a day a young Nigerian fan's creativity paid off in a big way. Davido, real name David Adedeji Adeleke, was impressed by a photo edit that showed him and Wizkid harmoniously standing shoulder to shoulder.
Not only did Davido appreciate the edit, but he also decided to reward the fan with KES 273,929 (approximately $1 million). The fan's photo edit has since garnered over 26,000 retweets and 9,000 likes on Davido's page.
Sharing a video of the fan celebrating with his kin, Davido expressed his gratitude and wished the fan continued success. 'Your glory will shine because of the awesome, grace and power of Olorun Oba! May you continue to enjoy Ifokanbale, in Jesus' name,' he wrote.
The video has gained over 1.1 million views, and it's clear that the fan's creativity has earned him a spot in the spotlight.
