Published on May 24, 2020, the NBA is in talks with The Walt Disney Company to resume its suspended season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The plan, which is still in its early stages, would see the league hold games at a single site, allowing for limited outside exposure and easier implementation of health and safety protocols.

According to NBA spokesman Mike Bass, the league's priority remains the health and safety of all involved, and they are working with public health experts and government officials to develop a comprehensive set of guidelines.

The NBA season was suspended in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with over half of the league's teams re-opening their practice facilities this month under strict conditions.

The original plan was for the NBA playoffs to begin on April 18 and conclude in June, but the suspension has pushed back the start date.
