Prince Harry's Decision to Leave Royal Family ¶
According to a new biography, Prince Harry was the driving force behind the royal family's exit, rather than his wife Meghan Markle.
The book, titled Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, is set to be published on August 11 and claims that Harry had been unhappy with his royal duties for a long time.
"The truth is Harry had been unhappy for a long, long time," a publishing insider told the Sun on Sunday.
"He wanted to move in the direction that they did and had been considering it for more than a year," the insider added.
Harry is said to dislike the term "Megxit" because it suggests his wife made the decision, sources claim.
"Meghan supported Harry's decision. But there was more than one occasion where she asked him if he was certain it was what he wanted," a source close to the couple said.
