On a rare interview, Kambua shared that she wasn't passionate about studies, but her late father Prof Manundu made her pursue them.

Speaking with Richard Njau aka Astar on his YouTube Channel Cleaning the Airwaves (CTA), Kambua revealed that she had just started soaring to new heights in her music career after winning a music tour trip to the United States of America.

However, she had to put her passion on hold to attend Africa Nazarene University, where she pursued a course in Business Administration.

After completing a bridging semester in Mathematics, Kambua stated that she 'hated math' and didn't put any effort to excel in the subject.

Despite her good grades, Kambua's heart was set on music, and she eventually took a different direction, actively singing on campus and working with different artistes outside.

Today, she is living her dream as one of the most celebrated gospel artistes in Kenya.
