On May 24, 2020, the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) expressed gratitude towards the government's efforts in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

Led by Bishop Dominic Kimengich of Eldoret Diocese, the bishops acknowledged the contributions of Kenyans supporting vulnerable communities with relief food and praised healthcare workers for their dedication.

'We are grateful to Kenyans that continue to support the most vulnerable by contributing towards their basic needs, the healthcare workers at all levels also continue to make us proud, may God bless you all,' Bishop Kimengich said.

The bishops urged Kenyans to adhere to health ministry guidelines to combat the pandemic, emphasizing the importance of unity in the face of adversity.
