May 24, 2020, has been a difficult day for many, but for Willis Raburu, it's been a year of unrelenting challenges. The media personality has faced a series of personal losses that have taken a toll on his mental health.

It all started when he lost his unborn child, Adana, which was a devastating blow. Months later, he separated from his wife, Marya Prude, adding to his emotional pain. And just recently, he lost one of his closest friends, former rugby player Allan Makaka, in a tragic accident on Mombasa road.

With his world crumbling around him, Willis took to social media to express his desperation and longing for things to work out. In a heartfelt post, he wrote, 'Y'all ever just cry while praying because you really want things to work out.'

His posts were a poignant tribute to his friend Allan, whom he affectionately referred to as 'you guy my guy.' He shared a song, 'Fly,' by King Kaka and Pascal Tokodi, which resonated with his feelings of loss and grief. In a touching admission, he wrote, 'I did not know I will use this song so soon.'

As the Business Manager at Royal Media Services, Allan Makaka worked closely with Willis at Hot 96. His untimely death has left a void in the lives of those who knew him, and the media fraternity is still reeling from the shock.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Willis, his family, and the Royal Media family and friends of Allan Makaka. We also pray for Willis's well-being and hope that he finds the strength to navigate this difficult time.
