On Saturday morning, a devastating road accident occurred along the Kericho-Nakuru Highway, claiming the lives of five people and leaving 12 others injured.
The accident happened at the Londiani Junction, where a truck collided with six vehicles that had stopped for Covid-19 screening at a roadblock.
According to eyewitnesses, the roadblock has been a source of concern, and they are now calling for its removal.
Londiani OCPD Musa Kongoni has confirmed that investigations into the cause of the accident have been launched.
