Kenya's rugby community is in shock following the tragic death of former Kenya 7's player Allan Makaka Shisiali in a road accident on Friday, May 22, along the Mombasa Nairobi highway.
According to reports, Makaka was involved in a grisly accident that resulted in his untimely demise. He was a dedicated family man and a talented rugby player who had a promising career ahead of him.

- He graduated from the United States International University (USIU).
- Before pursuing his rugby career, Makaka worked as a Business Executive at Royal Media Services, a position he held from February 1, 2012.
Makaka's eight-year professional career in sales was marked by his dedication, passion, and commitment to his work. He was also a skilled rugby player who represented Kenya in the rugby sevens and Shujaa teams.
