Kenya's sports fraternity is mourning the loss of a veteran rugby player, Allan Makaka Shisiali, who died in a road accident on May 22, 2020, along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.
According to reports, Makaka, a former Harlequin's RFC player, rammed into a truck from behind, resulting in the tragic incident.
The Kenya rugby fraternity has expressed its condolences to Makaka's family and friends, with a heartfelt message on their page:
"We are deeply saddened by the death of former #Kenya7s International player," "Our most sincere condolences goes out to his family and friends. Rest in Peace Champ."

Makaka, a former Kenya 7's player, was a notable figure in the rugby world, having scored most tries for Kenya in the 2004-2005 World Rugby Sevens Series and holding the record for the most points with 86 in the same year.
