On a journey from poverty to success, motivational speaker Sam West credits his parents for being his role models. Despite facing numerous challenges, including being evicted from their home, Sam's parents instilled in him the values of hard work and resilience.
Sam's parents ran an orphanage called 'Zero Civilization,' which was started in 2002. Although his father passed away in 2018, his mother remains a source of inspiration for Sam. In an interview with Mpasho, Sam shared his gratitude towards his parents, saying, 'My mum is still alive and she is someone I honor, she is my role model.'
Sam's own life was not without its challenges. Growing up, his family struggled to make ends meet, and there were times when they had to walk barefoot to school. However, Sam's determination to succeed has led him to become a successful motivational speaker and husband to celebrated Kenyan artiste Vivianne.
Sam's story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of having role models in one's life. As he said, 'The thing about my parents is how they have uplifted so many young and poor people.'
