It seems like the beef between Davido and Wizkid is finally a thing of the past, with both artists seemingly at peace. However, a new rivalry is brewing, and it involves none other than Burna Boy.
According to reports, Burna Boy took to Snapchat to call out Davido, accusing him of being an embarrassment to the music industry. Burna Boy's post was a scathing critique of Davido's career, with the 'If' hitmaker claiming that Davido's success is solely due to his wealthy father, Ademola Adeleke.
“You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team but your daddy bought the football team,” Burna Boy posted on Snapchat.
However, it seems like Burna Boy's post was short-lived, as he later deleted it and left videos of his upcoming studio. The studio, which is set to be a big deal, will feature a football pitch and basketball court at the back.
It's worth noting that Burna Boy's comments come after he became an international sensation last year with the release of his album, 'African Giant', which received worldwide attention and love from the likes of Rihanna and Beyoncé.
Despite the brewing beef, it's clear that there's room for everyone in the music industry, and no need to start unnecessary rivalries.
