On May 22, 2020, a fascinating story behind the hit song 'John Cena' by Sho Madjozi emerged.
According to Rommy Jones, WCB's official DJ and Diamond's brother, Mbosso was initially set to feature on the song.
However, everything changed when Sho Madjozi met with 'Colours' during her European tour.
As Jones explained, 'When working with 'Colours,' you need to have a new song that you have never released.' Since Sho Madjozi didn't have a new song at the time, she asked Jones if she could use 'John Cena' for her project.
Despite not being credited for the song, Jones gave it to Sho Madjozi for free, believing it was the reason for the song's massive success.
As he put it, 'I left the song to her, I didn't ask for money or anything, and that's how the song became big. Everything has a reason.'
Interestingly, Jones has collaborated with Sho Madjozi on another project, but this time, Mbosso is not included.
As he revealed, 'We have a song already with Sho Madjozi, and the video is ready.'
