On a surprise visit to Kiss FM, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua May 22, 2020 shared his inspiring vision for a better Kenya. He emphasized that for him, he is not a politician but a leader, who prioritizes the well-being of his people.

Highlighting the remarkable developments in Machakos, Governor Mutua stated that he has made healthcare a top priority, with the Machakos Level Five hospital now resembling a private hospital. He has also hired 800 nurses to ensure quality healthcare services.

When asked by Kamene, a young and vibrant radio host, about the challenges he faces as a leader, Governor Mutua attributed the problems to the 'stupidity of politicians.' He emphasized the need for the youth to take over the country and decide who will lead them, rather than being held back by the mistakes of others.

He also expressed his desire to see a Kenya where young people can drive their own cars, just like in other countries, and where leadership is not limited by tribe, gender, or background. Governor Mutua's message of hope and resilience resonated with Kamene and her listeners, leaving them with a sense of optimism for a better future.

Before leaving the studio, Governor Mutua was treated to a song by Nviiri, a promising young artist, and he expressed his admiration for the talented musician.
