Published on May 22, 2020, six sons of wealthy Eldoret businessman Jackson Kibor have expressed their readiness to undergo paternity tests to confirm their relationship with their father.

The sons, Elkana Kipleting, Evans Kipkosgei, Ezekiel Kipng'etich, Eric Kipchumba, and Raymond Kibitok, have made their intentions clear in the wake of their father's vow to conduct DNA tests on them before they can inherit his property.

The sons are also challenging a court ruling that granted Mzee Kibor full ownership of a 1,250-acre land in Kabenes, Uasin Gishu County, and are seeking the exhumation of their late brother Edwin Kipkoech's remains for a paternity test.

Naomi Jeptoo, the mother of the six and Mzee Kibor's third wife, has expressed shock at her ex-husband's questioning of the paternity of their sons, stating that she was married to him in January 1975 and gave birth to their first son in October of the same year.

Jeptoo has also denied cheating on her husband and believes that the paternity test could change the children's destiny by giving them a share of their inheritance.
