As the world grapples with the Covid-19 pandemic, content creators have had to find new ways to produce and share content with their audiences.

With the restrictions on movement and social gatherings, many content creators have had to get creative with their content, moving from travel and lifestyle videos to home-made content.

Farhana Oberson, a travel and lifestyle content creator, has had to adapt to the new reality, moving from putting out travel videos to getting creative with home-made content.

'I have found myself sharing food-related stuff, which isn’t too different from what I was doing initially, reviewing different cuisines and restaurants,' she said.

Oberson has seen an increase in viewership, hitting 100,000 subscribers faster than she thought, but she is not under any pressure to create more content.

'I create content because I can and want to,' she said.

Another content creator, Joy Kendi, has also had to adapt to the new reality, moving from attending events and parties to creating content from the confines of her two-bedroom house.

'My days are now slower, I wake up, have breakfast and plan my shoots, if I have any, or go through my e-mails,' she said.

Kendi has seen an increase in viewership, but she is not pushing herself too hard, wanting to avoid burnout.

She has also discovered that her followers enjoy seeing her in her organic state, with no makeup, wearing pyjamas and eating simple dishes.

Other content creators have also had to adapt to the new reality, with some finding new ways to create content from home.

As the pandemic continues to affect the world, content creators will have to continue to find new ways to produce and share content with their audiences.
